• 1,766 single-family homes and 407 condos were sold in May
• That’s a 7.2% increase compared to a year ago
• 252 fewer homes got listed in May compared to a year ago
• Home sales in May of 2016 is 30% higher than home sales during May of 2012, the real estate market’s most recent low point

Next, Brian reveals the 10 hottest municipalities in the five county Milwaukee metropolitan area. With Oak Creek, Hartland and Shorewood leading the way, find out which markets are among the fastest selling (and slowest selling) in the greater Milwaukee area. Plus, learn why there is such a big difference between selling condos and selling single-family homes.
Later, David explains the potential risk and cost of waiting to buy a home. For millennials, or any other home buyer out there, low rates and good home prices should allow you to buy as much house as you can instead of settling on a first home of lesser value. On the topic of home appreciation, Brian drills down the home price numbers in states and areas beyond Wisconsin. The bottom line: all real estate is local.
